What to Expect

Auto Fill 

The latest innovation from Plungie is our automatic water top up valve. Topping up your pool with water may seem like a mundane task, but it’s crucial for maintaining your pool’s health and usability. Water levels can drop and need topping up due to reasons such as evaporation and splashing.

Evaporation is particularly common in Texas due to the climate, making this feature paramount for any Texas’ locals who own a Plungie. 

Keeping your pool full ensures that the filtration system runs smoothly, stops your water level dropping below your skimmer box and potentially burning out and causing damage to your pump.

Pool pumps are expensive to replace and here at Plungie we believe prevention is better than cure. The addition of an auto fill can save you lots of money in the long run. 

A proper water level also helps maintain the chemical balance in your pool. Balanced water prevents algae growth and keeps the water crystal clear. Imagine jumping into a perfectly clean pool every time – that’s the beauty of a well-maintained water level.

That’s where our new top up valve comes in. No more remembering to turn the hose on and off and no more accidental flooding when you forget!

Our new auto fill automatically shuts itself off when your Plungie’s reaches the right level. Therefore, there is no accidental overflow or flooding, saving work, water and money!

Accessory Holders

As every Plungie owner knows, any one of our four pre-cast pools is the perfect place to gather and mingle with friends and family.

Now you can enhance your social gatherings and pool parties and elevate your hosting game to another level with Plungie’s new accessory holders - the possibilities are endless! 

Easily slot in an umbrella to keep everyone cool and out of the sun when they are sitting back enjoying a nice cold beverage.

Speaking of beverages, one of the problems of pool ownership is where to put your drink when you’re sitting on the steps. 

That’s why the new Plungie accessory holder can accommodate a table so now you have somewhere to put your drinks.

Now you’re cool under your umbrella, but what about that drink in your hand? Is it cool?

Why not insert a cooler into your Plungie with the new accessory holder feature. That way both you and your drinks can stay nice and cool in the pool.

Top Edge ecoFinish

Every Plungie comes with an internal high performance thermo polymer coating — which is the fancy way of describing ecoFinish. 

As you might be aware, ecoFinish is a highly engineered form of powder coating that’s heat-blasted onto the internal shell of the pool, forming a completely sealed, flexible, waterproof membrane that’s both luxurious to the touch, and highly durable.

But did you know, now you can request a top edge ecoFinish as an additional modification when you order your Plungie.

This means we will continue the internal ecoFinish over the top edge of your pool. This circumvents the need for coping tiles and makes even more exciting design options available for you and your Plungie.

Fire Provisions

A small modification that makes a big difference! Introducing Plungie’s fire provisions extra that is available with our Original and Max models.

Adding a fire provision to your Plungie essentially allows it to be used as a firefighting tool.

Just a small adjustment to your pool’s shell can make it a viable water source to use to combat a fire.

Plungie’s fire provision modification simply adds two suction points to your pool, which then allow a valve to be added. This valve can ultimately be connected to a hydrant or pump so your pool can be used as a water source during a fire.

After receiving this request from homeowners in fire-prone areas, we thought it was time to introduce this as a standard modification available to anyone who wants it.

As mentioned before, we only offer the fire provisions on our Original and Max Plungies. That’s because they are the ideal size for a static water supply for your property.

After all, the Max is the world’s largest monolithic pre-cast concrete swimming pool! Like most of our add-ons and modifications, a fire provision must be requested at the time of ordering and cannot be retrofitted.

Construction Cover

Calling all builders and project managers! Another exciting add-on that future Plungie owners can look forward to is our made to measure Construction Covers.

If you’re planning to include a Plungie as part of a building project, why not include a Construction Cover pre-fitted to your Plungie, straight from our factory!

Not only will the Construction Cover save you hundreds of dollars from having to hire this externally, but it will also protect the pool’s interior and allow your tradespeople to work confidently around your Plungie for the duration of your project.

We strongly recommend including this option if your Plungie will remain unfilled for any extended period, or if your project will require contractors to  work in close proximity to your pool.

Yet another reason why a Plungie is easier and more cost-effective to include as part of your building project!
