We're proud to be the official Pool Supplier of The Block  2023, one of Australia's most popular reality television series. The series follows five couples as they compete against each other to renovate and style houses/apartments and sell them at auction for the highest price.

Key project elements

Plungie provided the perfect solution for Steph and Gian’s difficult site, as our pools can be installed in-ground, above-ground and everywhere in between. Steph and Gian kept the colour palette neutral, with a natural pool coping tile, glass pool fence and a Kona Coast ecoFinish interior.

Above-Ground Installation

Tree roots in the backyard prevented excavation, so the couple chose to install their Plungie Original above ground. This showcasing Plungie's market-leading versatility. 

Seamless Design Integration

The couple integrated natural materials throughout the space, including the timber pool deck and black cladding on the pool’s exterior. The contrasting light and dark wood and surrounding bamboo aligned with Steph and Gian’s Japandi style — the perfect mix of Japanese and Scandinavian design. Adding a private sauna next to the Plungie completed the backyard’s transformation into a wellness hub.
